When babu Rama Kant got tired, frustrated and fed up with his older brother, Babu Uma Kant, he stormed into his office and demanded that he do the partition of the estate left by Babu Shyam Manohar ASAP. Rama Kant was concerned that in the past Babu Uma Kant sold all the properties left by their parents, and never gave anything to him (Rama Kant). Think about it, never gave anything to him ! to his cute little younger brother, not even ice cream ? may be some ice cream - we don't know. In this hand written letter below, Uma Kant confesses to Rama Kant that that indeed is true. Also in this letter dated September 24, 1974 Babu Uma Kant, makes no reference of the "will" being peddled around supposedly written in 1971. In this letter, Babu Uma Kant agrees to give everything to his younger brother including the Lucknow house and the Kanpur house as compensation for taking everything from his childhood. A total mea culpa. He also makes no mention of the fictitious properties mentioned in the alleged will since they were fictitious after all. If he was giving away everything why miss those properties ?
